Fiberpalooza: Learn Shuttle Tatting



This tatting class is a very basic beginning class.  If you have always wanted to learn how to tat using shuttles, this will introduce you to the flip required to produce the double stitch.  In this hands on class you will learn about proper winding of the shuttle, making the double stitches and then how to form rings and chains.  Also, pattern reading wih abbreviations to beginning tatting terms.  This class will give the knowledge needed to start your first beginning project, including coaching tips on entering tatting in fairs for judging.  With this class you get two shuttles and a spool of thread.  2:00-4:00 p.m.

Instructor Bio: Sherry is a fiber enthusiast who spins, knits, crochets, tats and weaves. Her creations are often blue ribbon winners at the Iowa State Fair.
