Not Your Grandma's Crochet Class at the Waukee Public Library

Learn the basics of crochet at the Waukee Public Library!  Sunday, April 5, 1:30-3:00 p.m.  Modern crochet is so much more than just your grandma's tea cozies and afghan collection!  From trendy cardigans and home decor pieces to jewelry and adorable stuffed animals- there's a modern crochet project for everyone.  Come learn the basics of crochet from the experts at Heartland Fiber Co.  You'll learn how to hold your hook and yarn, pattern reading, single crochet and join your chains.  With these skills you will be able to crochet a simple cowl!  Cost for supplies is $7 per person and includes a crochet hook, simple cowl pattern and yarn for completing your project.
