Cozy up on a Sunday in the Waukee Public Library and learn to knit! In this two hour class you will learn the basics of knitting and leave knowing how to knit a simple scarf. We will cover casting on your stitches, mastering the basic knit stitch and binding off your completed work. All materials for this class are provided and will be yours to keep. Sunday, Jan. 24.

By popular demand we've added another Boden Poncho class!!! Nordic sweaters are all the rage in knitting right now- with this class you will learn the skills needed to knit the colorwork yoke and still have the simplicity of a poncho. You can choose to knit the adult size or for a quicker project the child size Boden poncho. This is a purchase pattern on Ravelry that you can buy and print at Heartland Fiber Co. We'll be knitting with worsted weight Shepherd's Wool from Stonehedge Fiber Mill in Michigan which is a super soft spun fine wool. This class is set for two Saturdays, if needed.
